The market demand for gluten-free products is growing as more and more Canadians are affected by gluten intolerance and sensitivities. The Canadian Celiac Association (CCA) created the Gluten-Free Certification Program in an effort to provide consumers with greater availability and choice in gluten-free foods that comply with Canada’s Food and Drug Regulations for these products.
The certification program was developed to give consumers confidence that a product bearing the Gluten Free Certification mark is safe to consume.
